The theme for the meet up is "The Importance of Committed Leadership to Workplace Wellness" and we will be joined by an inspiring panel of leaders to discuss this including Kate Moran of HubSpot, Jim Gavin of the Irish Aviation Authority and Dublin GAA and Jennifer Grogan of the ESB.

Read MoreThe Workplace Wellness Ireland community meets again this Thursday March 21st in Dublin.
The theme for the evening is "Embracing technology in workplace wellness while keeping it human".
Workplace Wellness Ireland has come a long way in a relatively short period of time. Since our first event in September 2018, the membership has been growing and the demand for tickets for our events has been increasing significantly.
Dublin has been a great base for our meet ups thus far and will continue to host events on a regular basis. So many of our members are based outside of the capital though so it’s only fair that we bring some community gatherings to the regions in 2019.

A long-term strategic wellness programme has the potential to shape behaviour change within an organisation; a one off initiative does not.
The long-term focus is also why I’m a big fan of the healthy workplace accreditations that have been launched in Ireland recently such as the KeepWell Mark from Ibec and Healthy Place to Work. The accreditations are fantastic for Irish companies that want to promote themselves as healthy places to work, something that is becoming increasingly important for attracting and retaining talent.
Read MoreThe second Workplace Wellness Ireland meet up took place on November 13th at the Bank of Ireland, Grand Canal Square. Demand was high with all available tickets reserved within 48 hours of release! The atmosphere and energy in the room was fantastic. A huge thanks to everyone for giving up their time on a weekday evening to attend the event.
I kicked off proceedings by welcoming everyone and re-sharing the community values. A quick show of hands revealed there was a fairly even split of those in attendance for the first time and returning attendees.
