3 Ways to Remove Boredom From Your Workouts

Who here loves running on the treadmill?

Didn’t think so.

A major reason many people can't stick to an exercise regimen is because they don't enjoy the actual act of exercising. Some people dread it and others just find it very boring. Not sure why, because robotically staring at a screen while you run in the same spot for 60 minutes can be thrilling.

Outdoor Fitness - Full Body Workout in the Playground

Who says you need a gym or proper workout equipment for a full body workout? Early last Saturday morning I met my personal trainer Philip Kavanagh from Limitless Functional Fitness and we went to the local playground (while the kids were still tucked up in bed) for an outdoor exercise session. 30 Day Challenge – The Result

My 30 day challenge has come to an end.  For the month of July I set myself goals in the areas of exercisenutrition and mental health. You can look on this as a detox, as preparation for a sporting event like a race or a big match, or simply a way of adopting a healthier lifestyle. Whatever your own personal goals, I know you will gain a lot from following my lead.

I completed my epic cycle around Ireland 4 weeks ago and I’ve been in limbo exercise wise since then as I’ve had no specific target to aim for.
